Richard P. Busse Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Law

VALAPRAISO, IN, August 12, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- Richard P. Busse, President of Dr. Vegetable Inc., and Attorney for Richard P. Busse, Attorney at Law, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law, business and education.
It seems like an odd career combination, law and fried vegetables, but Mr. Busse makes it work. He holds a variety of talents, including expertise in small-business management, bankruptcy, business law, employment discrimination, and civil rights law. Through Dr. Vegetable Inc., which he started in 1982, he has traveled to 32 festivals in eight states, serving fried vegetable, fruit, elephant ear, funnel cake, and corn dog dishes as well as other sundry snacks.
On the other end of the spectrum, as an attorney, he meets with clients, and assists them with small business establishments. He also facilitates others in forming, buying, selling and expanding their own businesses. He is committed to helping the ordinary person who has been wronged by a big business or government. The goal of his law practice is to enhance the lives of individuals in the community. Mr. Busse has taught theology and ethics at the university level, published several magazine articles and editorials, and edited a variety of publications. He is also an adjunct lecturer in history and philosophy at Indiana University Northwest, and lectures annually in the Epic of Creation series at the Zygon Center for Religion and Science. His most recent venture is the formation of Great Lakes Fair Purchasing, LLC, a buying group for concessionaires, fairs and festivals.
Mr. Busse earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 1972 from Valparaiso University, followed three years later with a Master of Theological Studies from The Lutheran School of Theology (LSTC) at Chicago. He added to his education in 1979 with a Master of Theology, and a Ph.D. in 1984, both from LSTC. In 1998, his education came full circle when he became the recipient of a JD from the Valparaiso University School of Law.
A licensed attorney, Mr. Busse is a member of several organizations, including the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Academy of Religion, and the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science. In the future, he intends to continue his private legal practice and travel around the United States to promote Dr. Vegetable Inc.
