A businesswoman with a focused work approach and compassionate need to help others, Dr. Jacobs has expertly performed chiropractic services for 17 years. Previously serving in the U.S. Army, she established Jacobs Chiropractic in 2005 and has since had the opportunity to work with professional athletes in women's football, soccer, volleyball and basketball leagues as well as with members of her community. Her expertise is in sports chiropractic, injury diagnosis and rehabilitation — however, she also excels at spinal adjustment and nutritional counseling.
Dr. Jacobs earned a Doctor of Chiropractic, with a concentration in sports chiropractic, from Life University in Marietta, Ga., in 1994, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in education, with a major in exercise science, from Georgia State University. She also holds certification in botanical medicine. In an exclusive interview with Cambridge Publishing, which named her Professional of the Year in Chiropractics in 2009, Dr. Jacobs noted that the highlights of her career included successfully treating a woman who was suffering from a sleeping disorder and a 6-year-old girl with enuresis.
With an aspiration to work with a greater number of professional sports teams in the future, Dr. Jacobs is affiliated with numerous industry organizations. Among them is The Chiropractic Association for the Care of Elite and Professional Athletes, ProSport Chiropractic, the Professional Football Chiropractic Society, and the American Chiropractic Association. In 2009, she was named one of America's Top Chiropractors — a recognition that was well deserved and continues to motivate Dr. Jacobs to provide each of her clients with the best of chiropractic care.
