Richard J. Schubert Honored Among Leading Trial Lawyers

Richard J. Schubert celebrated for over three decades of outstanding contributions to the legal field

    PITTSBURGH, PA, July 22, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- Richard J. Schubert, Attorney with AlpernSchubert P.C., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in civil law.

With over three decades' experience in the legal field, Richard J. Schubert has become a recognized leader in trial practice. Following his professional involvement with a prominent injury practice in Pittsburgh, he made the decision to strike out on his own and focus on practicing law in a small firm setting. Alongside his colleague, Chuck Alpern, Mr. Schubert established AlpernSchubert P.C. to concentrate of personal injury law and workers' compensation cases. He also handles medical malpractice, defective product and various other litigation cases.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Schubert has held leadership positions with a number of trial lawyer organizations. Since 1983, he has served on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and was its president for the 2003/2004 year. He is also the former president and current board member of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Schubert's additional affiliations include the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County as well as the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Schubert holds a degree in law and a bachelor of arts from Duquesne University. He is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist and earned a certification through the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Schubert is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, all Pennsylvania Appellate and Common Pleas Courts, the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
