BETHLEHEM, NH, July 18, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- Luke A. Thorne, Owner of Mount Washington Stables, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in horsemanship.
After growing up around horses, Mr. Thorne decided to make a career out of caring for them. He now has two decades of professional experience and expertise in horsemanship, driving carriages and sleighs, and horseshoeing. For the past 12 years, he has owned Mount Washington Stables, which houses approximately 30 horses and spans 214 acres. Mr. Thorne oversees the stable's daily operations and a staff of four, gives riding lessons and pony rides, and coordinates services for weddings, special events, groups and schools. He also leads horseback rides and hay rides, as well as carriage and sleigh rides.
Mr. Thorne has won numerous trophies for horse pulling competitions. In the future, he hopes to build his business, branch out, and utilize his horse and buggy for funerals. A former Boy Scout, he offers free rides to Boy Scouts in the summer. Mr. Thorne is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of New Hampshire, and Pine Tree State Rifle and Pistol Association.
