Emmett W. Wallace Distinguished as a VIP of the Year
Emmett Wallace is in production coordination
ODESSA, TX, July 26, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- Emmett William Wallace, Manager at Sivalls, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who as a VIP of the Year for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in production coordination.
A self-motivated, creative and proactive professional, Mr. Wallace possesses 46 years of design, sales and coordination experience. For the last three years, he has utilized his skills as a manager at Sivalls, Inc., an oil-field equipment manufacturer. One of his accomplishments in this capacity was to set up a sales directory that allowed management to see a simple breakdown of all equipment currently being bid on, the profit margin, price, equipment details and other pertinent logistics. Mr. Wallace is responsible for reporting company profits on a job-to-job basis, processing all working branch jobs, entering and closing all plant jobs, tracing all material and contract costs, and managing invoices. He is also tasked with coordinating four manufacturing plants and several branches. His department oversees the disposal of hazardous waste materials, and schedules trucking for domestic and foreign deliveries.
Mr. Wallace previously helped to establish a company almost from scratch by heading its design department and growing it into a profitable enterprise. During this phase of his career, he set up an operations costing system that equaled the accounting system within 0.6 percent, but which included complete job cost details from an operations point of view. Additionally, he designed a quote and sales marketing report system that tracked all aspects of quotes, sales, percent capture rates, and the locations sold for each type of equipment. These experiences as a designer enabled him to garner many pertinent skills that now allow him to excel at Sivalls.
Mr. Wallace has an honorary Master of Arts in organizational management and an honorary Bachelor of Business Administration in project management. Looking forward, he intends to continue pursuing opportunities that encourage a creative and proactive working environment.
