John C. Rainone Shares his Passion for Fishing through his Own Charter Boat Company
John Rainone ensures a safe, clean way to enjoy various types of saltwater fishing
NARRAGANSETT, RI, June 24, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- John C. Rainone, Owner and Captain of L'il Toot Charters, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in charter boat services.
A fishing enthusiast, Mr. Rainone relishes sharing his passion with like-minded individuals through L'il Toot Charters, his own saltwater charter boat company. Currently in his third decade as an independent boat operator, he coordinates fishing trips, teaches clients how to fish and prepare recipes, and ensures a safe, clean way to enjoy various types of saltwater fishing, including trolling, jigging, drift fishing, bottom fishing and chunk bait fishing.
Prior to establishing L'il Toot Charters, Mr. Rainone spent most of his time on dry land as a teacher and professional musician. During his first year as a music instructor for Providence Public Schools, his doctor advised him to take to the water as a form of relaxation. He eventually bought a boat, passed the U.S. Coast Guard captain exam in 1980, and started operating a charter boat during the summer, and on weekends in spring and fall while he continued to teach. Steadily, he built his clientele and reputation within his industry — a rise that culminated in his election as president of the Rhode Island Party & Charter Boat Association. He held this office for more than 23 years and considers helping the organization grow to be one of his proudest professional accomplishments. He continues to serve as vice president.
Mr. Rainone received a master's degree in instructional technologies in 1976 from Rhode Island College and a Bachelor of Arts in 1971 from Berklee College of Music. A man of diverse interests, he is a certified professional collector and breath alcohol technician with the Rhode Island Party & Charter Boat Association and a lifetime certified teacher of music for grades K-12. Additionally, Mr. Rainone has been involved with various advisory panels of the Rhode Island Fisheries Council and is a co-editor of Rhode Island Fishing Magazine. In 2010, he was selected as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who. As he moves forward, Mr. Rainone plans to continue chartering his boat, as long as it is still fun and does not become a job. In his spare time, he enjoys performing on the keyboard and spending time with his four grandsons.
