Miorica Beker, MS, CAP, LMHC, Named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Health Care
Ms. Beker helps people overcome their addictions and return to society
SUNRISE, FL, November 9, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- Miorica Beker, Regional Director of South Florida's Colonial Management Group, LP, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Health Care. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
As the regional director of South Florida's Colonial Management Group, LP, Ms. Beker oversees an outpatient clinic as well as the employees of that clinic. In addition to serving as a counselor, she is responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures are followed, and that patients' needs are being met. She became involved in her profession because she enjoys helping people return to society.
Ms. Beker received a Master of Science in psychology from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL. In addition to her formal education, she received a certification in alcohol and drug addiction from the State of Florida. She is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana, a certified addiction specialist, and a registered addiction specialist. In 2007 and 2004, she received an achievement award from the Colonial Management Group, LP.
Colonial Management Group, LP is an organization comprised of substance abuse treatment centers that provide drug dependency services and outpatient treatment.
