The event took place at the new Langley Civic Facility in Langley BC on Thursday November 2rd, 2011 at 20338 - 65 Avenue. Roberts' presentation "From Skid Row to CEO" highlighted his unique "rags to riches" personal life story, which inspired his audience to overcome adversity in their own lives.

Although Roberts' addiction started at age nine, he overcame his adversity, realized his potential and successfully completed two business degrees from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario.
