Kate began her professional career as a teacher before moving into the human resources field where she has held positions in international engineering organizations and training organizations as a Business Development Director.
During her collegiate career, Kate earned a four year Education and Training Diploma, and Diploma Qualifications in Human Resources Management, Training Management, Cognitive Development, some ETDP- Occupationally Directed Education and Training Diploma courses, and an Industrial Relations Certificate from the University of Pretoria. She is a member of the Institute of Directors, Business Women's Association and the South African Board for People Practices.
