Cynthia Robinson Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Health Care
Cynthia Robinson was granted a patent for a surgical error prevention system (SEPS)
GOODYEAR, AZ, October 03, 2011 /Management PR News/ -- Cynthia Robinson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Family Healthcare Solutions, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.
Ms. Robinson is a registered nurse with 30 years of experience in the health care field, and during this time, she acquired an expertise in intensive care. She founded Family Healthcare Solutions seven years ago and has served as the chief executive officer since that time. Her responsibilities include educating patients, providing health coaching, and acting as a liaison between patients and doctors. She also holds a patent for a system designed to eliminate wrong side, wrong site, and wrong patient surgical errors, which she developed after becoming a victim of a surgical error herself. This experience impelled her to become proactive in preventing such occurrences and making a difference in the health care system through the development of Surgical Error Prevention System (SEPS) .
In 2004, Ms. Robinson received a master's degree in hospital administration from the University of St. Francis. Additionally, she has earned a certification in death and dying counseling. Ms. Robinson previously worked as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University. She is a former member of the Nursing Research Sub-Committee of Mayo Clinic Hospital and is currently affiliated with Sigma Theta Tau International.
