The event took place at the Venitian Hotel, Las Vegas Nevada, on June 21 - 23rd, 2011. Roberts' presentation "Skid Row to CEO" highlighted his unique "rags to riches" personal life story, which inspired his audience to overcome adversity and use their talents and knowledge to become leaders in their fields.

Although his addiction started at age nine, Roberts overcame his adversity, realized his potential and successfully completed two business degrees from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario.
